About Me

My name is Stuart Kinnear and I love photography.

I am based in Calgary, but spend as much of my time as possible out experiencing life outdoors. I've always been fascinated by the way that a photo can freeze time and let you re-live the moments that matter most to you. My favourite images are candid moments that let me rediscover the feelings in that instant.

My inspiration comes from families and the natural world.

For me, taking photos of families is extremely special. Sharing in your life, even for a short time, pushes me to be the best that I can be. Creating something that will be treasured and shared for years to come excites me.

Living in one of the most beautiful places on our planet, the Canadian Rockies, is an inspiration to me every day. People come from around the globe just to be where I live, and this is a privilege I do not take for granted. All of the wonderful places near my home motivate me to share and promote this amazing landscape every single day.
